Chi OmegaSince our founding, The Psi Mu Chapter has worked to fulfill the six purposes that Chi Omega stands on: Sisterhood, Scholarship, High Standards of Personnel, Career Development, Campus Activities, & Community Service.
Community Service is a purpose that is supported in many ways throughout the year. The Chi Omega founders believed it was important for sisters to devote time to causes greater than themselves. Our sisters participate in 10-15 service hours on average per semester in various service projects and in planning our own philanthropic events for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation. In addition to our efforts for Make-A-Wish®, we love to participate in other chapters' philanthropic events! Not only are they a blast, but we help raise money for many great causes, while showing support for other Greeks at the same time. Some of our favorites include AEPhi's Bowlanthropy, KD Shakedown, Beta's Best Dance Crew, Zeta Lip Sync, and G.I. Theta Chi. Our Sisters always go all out and have a great competitive spirit! |
Alliance with Make-A-Wish®Since 1895, Chi Omega Fraternity has been enriching women’s lives through our unique membership experience. As a prominent national women's fraternity, Chi Omega provides countless opportunities for fun and friendship during college and beyond.
Since Chi Omega's alliance with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® began in 2001, Chi Omega has raised over $8 million and donated over 500,000 hours to the Foundation. Chi Omega women are truly making a difference in their communities as they help make wishes come true and share the power of a wish®. Now it's your turn to share in the ability to bring happiness and wishes to children around the world! |
